KULA is a company devoted to service delivery and accomplishment of operational studies and researches, technical and programmatic support on socio economic development area, using international standard of quality and methodological resources, relying at the same time on contextual knowledge and experiences.
From a relatively new existence KULA is proud of having accomplished baseline studies for the launch of social intervention programs; produced Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials; capacity building of nongovernmental organisations (NGOs); designed sector specific strategies; and midterm/final evaluations of programs and projects.
In the last 3 years KULA has established itself as a company that is highly competitive and dynamic, which knows how to respond timely to the demand and challenges put by the contemporary market of consultancies, research and service delivery in public health/socioeconomic environment.
“Hot Spot” Mapping Study on Two Transport Corridors in Mozambique
Kula is conducting a study aimed at mapping the HIV Infection "Hot Spots" along the Beira and Tete transport corridors, with a view to gathering more information on the lives of migrant people along the corridors and the related health and HIV vulnerabilities.
National Multi-Sectoral Plan of Action on Gender and HIV and AIDS in Mozambique
The Joint United Nations Program on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS), has requested Kula to prepare the National Multi-Sectoral Plan of Action on Gender and HIV and AIDS for Mozambique, with the aim of guiding the decision making and planning processes in the area of HIV and AIDS and Gender. The preparation of the Plan will involve 3 stages: a Situational Analysis, Development of the National Multi-Sectoral Plan of Action on Gender and HIV and AIDS, and Consultation and Validation of the Plan of Action.
